The fourth-ever SketchUp 3D Basecamp took place October 15, 16 and 17 in SketchUp’s hometown of Boulder, Colorado. This year 3D Basecamp was an opportunity for 280 SketchUp enthusiasts to meet, learn and be inspired by one another.
Many topics have been discussed during the Conference. Topics included the acquisition of Google SketchUp by Trimble, 3D printing, Rendering engines, Collaborative Platforms, BIM and, of course, Augmented Reality.
Inglobe Technologies has leaded the Augmented Reality session presenting the state of the art of the ARmedia Plugin for SketchUp. Graziano Terenzi, CEO at Inglobe Technologies, presented on some of the features of the Plugin. Both the standalone (PC/Mac) and the mobile versions were introduced and discussed.
