ISMAR 2011 – Workshop on Authoring Solutions for Augmented Reality

We are happy to announce that Inglobe Technologies will present a paper on “Augmented Reality Design” at the workshop on Authoring Solutions for Augmented Reality. The workshop is an opportunity to present authoring or content creation papers on topics relevant for Mixed and Augmented Reality. The workshop seeks to capture the state of the art as well as discussing future concepts ranging from a casual user to the day-to-day workflow of an expert.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

- Tools and Technologies

  • libraries
  • protocols
  • workflows

- Interaction concepts for creating content in and for AR

  • interaction concepts, e.g. input devices and modalities
  • extending or beyond CAD, e.g. sketch based interfaces and widgets

- In-situ creation and assembly for AR

  • crowd sourcing, with focus on non-expert
  • non-spatial content, such as annotations, audio, ambient data etc. pp.
  • distribution concepts and infrastructure

- Specialists Spotlight

  • topics covering AR content creation for specific tasks in engineering, education, medicine, tourism and entertainment

The workshop will take place on October 26th and is part of the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR 2011) taking place October, 26 – 29, 2011 in Basel (Switzerland). For further information please also check the ISMAR webpage at: International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality 2011.

Program: Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
